In the heart of Boston lies the sweetest little flower shop called Fern. Designed by Meg Kimball to look like a private hidden garden much like those found tucked away in the alleys of Back Bay and Beacon Hill, the walls are covered in garden treillage, painted in several shades of light green. With its slate floors, stone statuary and furnishings, and a beautifully appointed water fountain, the atmosphere is tranquil and alluring. A highlight of the shop is its fiber optic lighting system that was placed within the ceiling, where thousands of microscopic pin-sized lights pierce through the ceiling tiles to create the effect of a magical, starlit evening sky.
