Description:

The Jūbako Bedside Table

The Jūbako Bedside Table draws inspiration from the refined geometry of traditional Japanese stacked boxes. A sculptural U-shaped frame cradles a precisely fitted drawer box, creating a quiet box-within-a-box composition. The drawer box itself forms the tabletop, eliminating unnecessary layers and giving the piece a clean, architectural silhouette.

Finished in lustrous black ebony lacquer, Jūbako reveals subtle wood grain beneath its polished surface. A discreet recessed pull preserves the uninterrupted drawer front, while the open lower compartment provides convenient storage for books and personal objects. Set on a recessed plinth, the table appears substantial yet lightly grounded—a study in balance, restraint, and purposeful detail.

Customizable and offered in a curated selection of tints, the Sable Bedside Table can be tailored to suit a wide range of interiors. Exclusive to Modern Relik.
