Modern Relik is fully committed to the satisfaction of our customers, however, we do understand that at times items may be returned or cancelled.

 

FINAL SALES

Any item from the following categories are considered non-cancelable and non-refundable

All sale items and clearance items

All vintage pieces, books, plants/greenery

All custom/made-to-order products

Artwork purchased through the website

Artwork accepted by customer after previewing in home

 

ARTWORK

Modern Relik understands you may wish to preview artwork within your home before committing to a purchase. For artwork that is available in store for immediate purchase, we offer a delivery and previewing service to assist our customers, for a fee.

STOCKED ITEMS IN STORE & WAREHOUSE

Stocked items are items carried in the Modern Relik retail store or warehouse.

 

Modern Relik accepts returns on all full-price, in-stock merchandise (final sale items excluded) within 5 days of purchase. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.

To receive a full refund, merchandise must be accompanied by a store receipt with all tags attached and in its original condition. Candles and diffusers must be in original condition packaging with seal intact.

Store credit will be issued for returns made without a receipt for the current price of the merchandise.

Modern Relik reserves the right to deny a refund if the merchandise does not meet these requirements and to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time.

Orders of stocked items may be cancelled before delivery has been scheduled or items have been shipped.

 

NON-STOCKED ITEMS

A non-stocked item is considered any item not currently in stock at the store or warehouse excluding showroom pieces.  

Non-stocked items are in most cases non-cancellable and non-refundable. In some cases orders may be cancelled or returned for a 25% re-stocking charge. Please contact the store for further information.

 

STOCKED ITEMS ON-LINE

Please refer to the product page on the website to determine if an item is returnable. If an item is returnable, please contact us at (617) 513-3336.

Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Once item is received and inspected at our warehouse, Modern Relik will issue a refund excluding the original and return shipping fees.

Items purchased on-line cannot be refunded or exchanged in the store.

 

CUSTOM ITEMS

Custom furniture and special orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Custom orders are considered to be any item that has been modified specifically for the customer such as non-standard size, fabric selection, etc.

Any changes to a custom/special order must be received and acknowledged within 48 hours of order placement. All customer orders under $3,000 must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. For orders over $3,000, a non-refundable 75% deposit will be taken when a custom order is placed.  The remaining 75% balance will be charged when the order ships.

 

DAMAGE CLAIMS

If your purchase arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of receipt so we can determine the best solution to resolve the problem. Please keep all packaging and photograph damage. Damage claims will not be accepted if reported outside 5 days.

Modern Relik reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Availability, pricing, delivery, and specifications are subject to change.  If there is an error in price, description, images, etc., Modern Relik reserves the right to hold orders of the items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
