Full Return Policy

RETURNS

At Modern Relik, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. However, if you wish to return or exchange an item, please review our policies and follow the instructions below.


CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS

Custom furniture and special orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Custom orders are considered to be a non-stock item that has been ordered specifically for a customer or project.  

Any changes to custom/special orders must be received and acknowledged within 48 hours of order placement. All customer orders under $1,000 must be paid in full at time order is placed. For orders over $1,000, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when a custom order is placed. The remaining 50% will be charged when the order ships.

Once delivered, custom/special order returns or exchanges due to customer preference or any other reason cannot be accepted. This includes furniture not fitting in to customer’s residence.


STOCKED ITEMS IN RETAIL STORE and WAREHOUSE

Stocked items are items carried in the Modern Relik retail store. We accept returns of stocked items within 14 days of purchase.  

Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Item must be in its original condition, with all tags attached, and accompanied by the original store receipt in order to receive a full refund. Store credit will be issued for returns made without a receipt for the current price of the merchandise. Modern Relik reserves the right to deny a refund if the merchandise does not meet these requirements.

Artwork: Modern Relik understands that you may wish to preview artwork within your home before committing to a purchase. For artwork that is available in the store for immediate purchase, we offer a delivery and previewing service to assist our customers, for a fee. All artwork purchased through our website is a final sale. Please contact the store for further information.

All vintage pieces and plants and greenery are final sale.


STOCKED ITEMS ON-LINE

Select items purchased on-line are in stock and returnable. Please refer to the product page to determine if an item is returnable. If it is, please contact us at (617) 513-3336 within 14 days of receiving your order to request a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number.

Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Once item is received and inspected at our warehouse, Modern Relik will issue a refund excluding the original and return shipping fees.


DAMAGE CLAIMS

If your purchase arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt so we can determine the best solution to resolve the problem. Please keep all packaging and photograph damage. Damage claims will not be accepted if reported outside 5 business days.


FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS

Sale items and clearance items are considered final sale and cannot be returned.


PRICING & INFORMATION DISCLAIMER

Modern Relik reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Availability, pricing, delivery, and specifications are subject to change. If there is an error in price, description, images, etc., Modern Relik reserves the right to hold orders of the items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
