Description:

The Nagare Chest

The Nagare Chest takes its name from the Japanese word for “flow,” expressed through a long, uninterrupted silhouette designed to sit gracefully at the foot of a bed. Six spacious drawers provide generous storage while maintaining the piece’s quiet, balanced rhythm. Discreet recessed pulls preserve the clean geometry of the drawer fronts.  The height and length of the cabinet makes it perfect for end of the bed storage, or a low console table.

The lacquered black-ebony or light oak cabinet rests on an extended platform of richly grained walnut or natural oak, creating useful ledges at either end and a warm contrast between materials. A deeply recessed ebony plinth gives the substantial form a light, floating appearance.

Architectural yet restrained, the Nagare Chest brings together practical bedroom storage, Japanese-inspired simplicity, and the refinement of finely finished furniture.  Please contact our offices at concierge@modernrelik.com for further information.
